A good kind friend gave me a very special book. It's was a Gratitude book. I was able to make notes each morning about what I look forward to that day. What I hoped to achieve. In the night I could reflect on all the good things about the day. How lucky I really was. How full my life actually is. How much I had to appreciate all in one feeling of Gratitude. I could also express what I look forward to in the day that followed. What a wonderful reminder this book became and how powerful all those memories of all the things that made life great.
We need reminders.
Getting into the practice of Gratitude can seem challenging as we forget so easily, also it can seem pointless and we feel grateful for things all the time. But writing down your appreciations is a humbling process and allows you to settle your heart and mind on the good things in life. Encouraging better sleep and peace of mind that things are not as bad as we make them out to be.
So here is my tip for you.
Get a note book just for Gratitude and keep it right by your bedside
Try it out for at least 21days.
Set a reminder on your phone each evening.
Share this message with a friend.
The smallest things.
However big or small your life is. How ever full or empty you feel. There is always something to feel grateful about.
Often times it's the smallest of things That can spark our feelings of deep appreciation and gratitude.
So don't overlook the little things in life That are true blessings.
One man's bother can be another's blessings. So count your blessings.
